View Full Version : Delta 1010, Windows XP, no Outputs?

I recently upgraded my box. I installed my Delta 1010 w/ the drivers on the maudio website for Windows XP.

My inputs are recognized, and I have my speakers hooked up to Outs 1/2. I can hear systems sounds, CDs, iradio...etc.

But, when I use a multitracking program (i.e. Samplitude) the only options for the card are the 8 inputs (Delta 1/2, 3/4...etc) and 'Delta Mulitrack Device' (or something like that, I don't have it in front of me right now).

When I go into my OS options it only has the 8 inputs, spid, & the overall device name - no outputs.

Does anyone know how to get XP to recognize my 8 outputs also? I'm probably missing something obvious.

I was previously running 98 and it listed them as Input 1/2 - 7/8, and Output 1/2 - 7/8... how can I get this again?

Multitrack programs also won't play back because they're not sure where to send the data.

thanx!

seems like the drivers didn't install properly. Use the uninstall utility found on M-audio's website. then reintall the drivers.

I've already uninstalled/reinstalled the driver - the one m-audio has listed as the current for Delta 1010 & XP. (I don't know if there's a difference, but I'm running XP Professoinal Version 2002)

The output device is defaulted as "M-Audio Delta 1010 Multichannel". The others are "M-Audio Delta 1010 1/2" up to "7/8" and then there's "spdif." These are only the inputs & the 'multichannel' one will output sound... it's just not recognizing any of the indivual outputs. The inputs work, they're just not called "inputs" like they were in my last system.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!
