Creative says no 2 Creative cards will coexist in one machine with their drivers. Those who have run 2 SBLives with the 3rd-party KX Project drivers often report that the clocks on the two cards drift, causing tracks to get out of time with each other.

You can, however, run an SBLive with a different 24-bit card. I ran an Echo Mia and an SBLive in my PC for 2 years, but threw out the SBLive when I found that I could instead run a sounfont VSTi (Bismark's BS-16) and not have to muck with 2 cards. Far easier and better quality....

There are soundcards which have 4 inputs or more, incase you were wondering.

Read this link as it explains a lot for people looking for new cards...
www.pcmus.com/choosecard.htm (http://www.pcmus.com/choosecard.htm)

The www.audiotrak.net (http://www.audiotrak.net) maya44usb card has ASIO drivers and good converters for less than US$199 and there are heaps of other low prices semi professional cards which will beat the pants off a SB card.
