I just recently bought a 5.1 home theater system. (LG LHB953) I watch movies on my computer with 5.1 surround going to this, via digital coaxial, and everything runs beautifully!
I'm wondering... is it possible to enable surround sound for my games, on this setup? Whenever I run games, or anything else for that matter, I only get front left and right channels, and the sub. (movies with ac3 audio & ac3 filter use being the only exception, getting 5.1 audio)
Using the digital coax, or RCA output, is my only option to connect to my home theater system. It's onboard sound, btw.
I have the ASUS P5Q SE motherboard.
Any ideas, or input would be just awesome. I'm stumped. If any other specs, or info is needed, just ask. I really want to get to the bottom of this one.
