mixing acoustic guitar?

I just finished a two day marathon session with some young monster acoustic players. One is simply a genius acoustic guitar flat picker.

I normally use a single condenser mic on an acoustic guitar, but for this session I used two SDC's, mounted above the guitar pointing down, one at the back of the sound hole and one pointed right below the 12th fret. Recorded the guitar in stereo.

I got an amazing fat rich acoustic sound...and with inexpensive condenser mics and my Soundcraft mixer preamps..
