I'm considering getting a MOTU 828mkII to replace my Echo Gina (which has been kind to me these past two years) and from reading the very impressive specs, I cannot decipher EXACTLY how many computer recording i/o channels it has..
Ive seen most places where it says "10 24/96 input and output channels"
Does this unit support 10 in and 10 out to the computer, or is it just a sum of ins and outs at 24/96 TOTALLING 10?
I plan on recording at 24/48 most of the time for right now, but want the 24/96 for future use/expansion room.
system: P4 1.8A, 512 DDR266, Asus P4B266 (intel 845), Asus GF4 mx440 video, win2k
Maxtor PCI firewire card (lucent chipset)
