So I'm using a Dell Xps 410 withan Intel Core 2 Quad processor (2.4ghz), and 2.0 RAM. I have 120 gigs free on my hard drive and i'm running protools 7.4 on windows vista. I've defragmented the drive once a week, all power saver options are on never, all my playback options are default, and i've done many mixes, including video projects, with no problem. but today, after loading a simple stereo wav, it cannot get through the whole song with the DAE error! the only thing i can think of thats different from the last time i did a mix and it worked was that i loaded the waves diamond bundle into my system. could that really potentially be the problem?!
