I'm having all kindsa problems with this, and Creative haven't exactly been getting back to me in a hurry.

I'm currently using Sonar 2.2 XL + DXi Instruments (using Audigy 2), as well as an EMU e6400 sampler. The combined sounds are mixed with an external Behringer mixing desk.

To record, I'm trying to feed the output back into the line-in of the Audigy 2. The problem I have is that this config, which worked fine with my old SB Live, doesn't seem to work with the Audigy 2.

Logically, I want to disable line-in playback, but enable it for recording, in order to avoid feedback. However when I disable line-in playback, I get zero input response with my wave recorder. If I enable line-in, then I do get a response, but if I even turn the levels up slightly, it distorts then feeds back to hell. This happens even without playing anything, so it might even be noise feedback.

Has anyone else experienced this? It's frustrating the heck outa me.

My settings:
Record: 'Analog mix' selected
Playback: All muted except line-in and Play Control.

Thanks in advance,
Sanford.

I think , that you should run 'line out' from creative card to to dedicated tracks on the behringer and 'send' those tracks to 'sub' - use the mixer.. the analog mixer.
The 'sub-out' back to the creative in.
I apologize in advance if you already done this .
the reason for the sub mix to line in is the availability of using mains to monitor the mix, And I think will eliminate feedback stuff, **** - never mind - may jesus bless you

Hi Sanford,
Were you able to fix your problem or work around it? I'm having the same problem myself. Please let me know.

Thanks a lot
