Okay so I have a Creative 5.1 surround set which I've been using for a while without problem, I use the Realtek AC97. However today suddenly my sound quality has suddenly become awful.
I've tried unplugging/replugging all sound cables, speakers etc.
I've tried disabling and then re-enabling the sound card
The sound sounds like AM radio, or maybe as if the bass is coming out through the 5 speakers as well as the sub-woofer. I really don't know.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
