Hi all

I have been using Midi for the past 15 years, well i havent the last few years as I sold all my synths bar my Jupiter 8...anyway

I am not sure if the Edirol PCR30 USB keboard, uses the USB as midi , in the sense that I want to play notes from soft synths..I DONT USE MIDI ANYMORE so does the USB act the same way I hit a key on the PCR30 and that note plays the Softsynth vias USB?

cheers

Well, it is still MIDI, but over USB an not over MIDI cable. I use an Oxygen 8 (same as the Edirol in concept) via USB and it works perfectly: I can control any VST plugin or synth. For example, in Cubase it shows up as MIDI source. Not sure if this answers your question...
