The Steinberg software recognizes the Duo but Sonar 2 does not. I've got a decent, well-maintained system so what's the problem?
Here's the setup:
Asus P4PE, Intel P4 2.53, 512 MB Corsair XMS DDR333, Radeon 9500 Pro, Windows XP Pro (SP1, DX 8.1, all patches), M-Audio USB Duo (latest drivers), USB Midisport 2X2.
I set the M-Audio systray applet to MME before loading Sonar 2. The midisport is detected no problem but the Duo is not recognized. When I check Control Panel/Sound and Audio Devices, I see that the USB Device is selected but it isn't the driver specific to the Duo.
I read something about the WMD but don't see an option for it anywhere.
Any help appreciated because I want to get on with making music...
