hello everyone
currently I have my xbox360 connected my monitor, and to my line-in on my sound card to be able to hear it. it's working fine for the most part i'm running into a problem though.
the sound from my line-in is going out to the speakers(back audio jack) fine, but its also going to my headset(front panel jack) which i use at the same time as the speakers exclusively to hear voice chat in Ventrilo. obviously this is problematic as game volume is generally much louder than peoples voices.
I played with the settings in my sound cards control panel for a while, and I could find no way to mute it for only one of my output devices. is there any other way around this?
the sound card is "Realtek HD Audio". integrated from a biostar ta 770 a2+, codec says "ALC888" if that is part of it.
thanks in advance for any help :)
