After about 7 years of using this card the midi in is not receiving any signal. The day before, I hooked up my old Mackie Ultra mix system and worked fine, although I'm running win98..Ha...ultramix is for win95...but had no problems in the past. The midi out, and audio still works. Can I have blown a driver from the Mackie. I don't have any software around for this and notice drivers on their website. Even if this is the problem I'm not sure. And if downloaded how would I reinstall this driver anyway.
Thanks to anyone that has some info.

hi there
welcome to audioforums.com

in all honesty, it might be a question for the good folks at Mackie:
http://www.mackie.com/products/ultramix/
http://www.mackie.com/products/ultramix/ultramix_om.html

like you suggested you might need to reinstall the drivers
here is the how to guide:
http://www.mackie.com/pdf/archive/ultramix_95ins.pdf
and the software:
http://www.mackie.com/products/ultramix/software/ULTRA113.ZIP

if this is a dedicated system, then i would suggest reinstalling the operating system too.

just start over from scratch.
hope this helps
cheers!

if the issue is not software related, then you may have a burnt out capacitor.

Thanks Sabianq for the info, but the problem is the Audiophile 24/96 card. The midi in will not work in the card no matter what I put into it. (Keys, MTC). Anyone know what midi driver would work from the Audiophile site to install again. And how would I reinstall that. Thanks to all.

Could be a wire broken in the breakout cable.

Pity you are so far away I would gladly have taken it off your hands for a reasonable sum and you could buy a new one!

I only need one MIDI card.

Dave.
