one channel

i am using ee mu 1820 and music coming into the wave strip only comes into one channel the way i get both channels is to put pan l and pan r knobs in zero center position that gets both sides lighting up in output mix meter levels.but in the strip it only shows input inright side don t think this is healthy for system please help yes i have checked connections this is internal

It would be helpful if you could describe what other hardware you might be using and what software your running.

Hi rip,

Is this while you are you recording music? Playing it back? A single microphone will only produce a mono signal. For playback/monitoring the e-mu will position it in the stereo field.

sorry i am using e mu 1820 with a cubase vst 5.1 but the problem is with the wave strip within patchmix i m not using a mic this input wave stripshould play outside source music in stereo it used to don t know what happened i didn t change anything.Thanks for the help i ll try anything suggested.hey reegs this is while i m playing streamed or outside source music into ee mu.i have no problem when i record
