Hello eveyone! 1st post! :) :D :)
I'm currently in the process of putting together a pc for music/audio work and have read that the set-up above (which I currently use with an old pc using only 1.5gb RAM) will only utilise 4gb RAM maximum. Is that correct???
I'm looking at motherboards with 8gb or 16gb limits... what would be the use of these if I can only see 4gb of the RAM.
Other people seem to have waaaay more RAM than 4gb... like 16gb - 32gb...!

My set-up will be as follows:
8gb RAM (eventually, will be 4gb at first)
Edirol FA-66 sound interface
Intel Duo 3ghz pcu
Is this a suitable set up??
