I am starting to make a segment for a podcast I listen to and was wondering how to change the SES file to an mp3 because I was sending them files that were heavier than a grand piano. This could have been mentioned before- I'm new to the forums, I just came here to get answers from intelligent people.
Any help would be appreciated. I am running Adobe Audition 1.0 (outdated, I bet  )

Welcome to the forums.
A .ses file is a session file in Audition (Cool Edit). It's basically a text file that contains the mix information (audio file location, plug-in settings, mix locations, etc.). You need to open it in the multi-track window of Audition and then mix it down to a wav. From there you can compress to MP3. You'll have to have all the original source files that the .ses references. They don't have to be in their original locations, but you need to be able to point Audition to them, when it asks.
