I have no In/Output signals between audiodock and patchmix. Patchmix shows 1010 light on, sync card light on AND audiodock on. So patchmix says everything is fine. When I playback from the pc, regardless of the output chanel (WAVE or ASIO) the meters in patchmix show output but there's no output from my audiodock (I cant hear anything). When I test my microphone with either of the inputs I get a signal on the audiodock but no response showing in patchmix. One day I simply turned on my computer as usual and realized there was no output, then I tested the input and realized there was no connection between the dock and patchmix even though all of the dock's lights are fine and patchmix shows the dock as online in the top-left corner.
I played around with the digital cable going from my pc to my audiodock, thinking it might be one of the smaller cables inside the mini snake that got loose but even after pushing, pulling and twisting it around, I got nothing (I used the signal generator). I did the same with the PCI cards (open heart surgery style) with no success again.
My
DSP version = 1.81
driver version = 5.12.01.0488
audiodock firmware = 3.3
sync card frimware = 5.6
if that helps... I'm pretty sure thats all as updated as possible.
and I have:
WINDOWS XP service pack 2
A Dell Pentium 4 with a Hyper-Threading Intel CPU.
I've had the 1820m for about 3 years now.
Is there anything else I should try? Is my audio interface dead? Pleeeeease help!
