Help Please !PreSonus Firebox Latency Isssues

Hey Guys,

I just purchased a PreSonus Firebox.

I have a Rode NTK Microphone and I have tried using both my:

(i) Mac Notebook with Firewire; and
(ii) Asus Laptop with Firewire

I have tried using both Cuebase and Ableton Live.

Doesn't matter what I use I get really bad latency through my headphones and I don't seem to be able to get a really nice sound out of the microphone.

Any advice on how to fix this Latency issue would really be appreciated !!

Hi, this is Jeremy from PreSonus Audio. The latency problem could be coming from a number of places. What is the signal chain into cubase/ableton and out of cubase/ableton. Is the latency coming from just the headphones, or is it in the main outs as well. If you would like personalized help, feel free to contact me.
