I'm using CEPro 2.0. When I change the speed (without changing the pitch) of an existing 320 kbs mp3 file (by a few percent up or down), the quality of the new file is at most 64 kbs. Can CEPro 2.0 produce higher quality speed changed mp3 files?

Yes -- great! How?

No -- does anyone know of other software which will change the speed of high quality mp3 files and yield high quality files as a result?

What settings are you using when you save to MP3 after doing your changes? Are you saving it back to a high bitrate?

Thanks! That's the answer -- Your comment caused me to notice the Options tab which accompanies the Save As command. Under that tab, I could select the kbps I want in the speed changed file. Thanks again!
