I'm using REWIRE to send an Ableton midi sample to FL then FL audio back into Ableton for mixing.
The instructions i used are here...

It works entering midi live through Ableton!
but not when entering and looping a midi sample :(
Basically i draw one out then loop it but the midi data doesn't seem to send properly or not at all....
is there another way of doing this or am i missing something?
this works as long as i'm not looping a midi file but playing it live.

It seems to me there may be weird latency when Ableton prepares to send the midi information from the midi track because at odd times fl will receive partial data and play it....
It seems most of the time it dosn't send the data at all, if there was stable latency i would just get a delay of the final output audio from FL
When fl has a chance to receive some of that data at least it will play it with no delay.
fl will always play when i play LIVE through Ableton but not through a prerecorded midi clip.
resources taken when i run this set up is about 65%
is there away to fix the latency or whatever this may be....?
