Hi. I'm new here. I don't even know how to read notes, so don't laugh at my questions. I will learn music theory before trying to make decent music, but I need the answers to these
questions first.
-How do you change the order of patterns?(e.g., I want to switch the pattern 1 and 2)
-Is it possible to make a pattern of say 4 2/4 beats?
-How do you make music with varying bpm's?
-I understand not everyone can do this, but how do you make samples/plugins/sound effects from scratch? I guess programming and recording are a few ways to do it, but what else?
-Any recommendations for tuts/books that teach you how to make good patterns/melodies? Or just some tips? Practice alone won't make you a good composer, right?
-When you remix a song without any samples from it, how do you replicate it(esp. melodies)? Do you just have to have good ears?
