Do any of you use the DMX 6fire and Sonar?
If so, please tell me what I am doing wrong.
1. I can't get any MIDI to play.
2. It seems to think I only have 1 input (1 in/3 out). I want to record from multiple inputs simultaneously and put them in different tracks. I can do this in Cubase without problems, what am I doing wrong in Sonar (or is it not possible with the WDM drivers?)?

I can play midi without a problem in Sonar 2 XL. But i am also having problems with audio. I have only 1 driver for playback and 1 for recording too, no simulateous multitrack recording.
I'm going to format my pc soon and install the lastest drivers again from scrach i'll let you know if that helps.

1. Do you have a synth (hardware or soft)that plays your midi(there is no onboard synth on the dmx6fire)?
2. Terratec has poor wdm drivers. They have only implented the bare minimum that is necessary in order to call them wdm, and that is why you can only see one input when running your card in wdm-mode.
1. There's no onboard MIDI synth. Use soft synth (e.g.LiveSynth Pro) to play and record MIDI.
2. You can only access one stereo pair as an input with WDM drivers. Maybe version 2.2 will bring the other inputs too with ASIO drivers.

I just can't hear a thing when audio playback, and i can't record audio either. I have a dmx 6fire and using sonar 2 xl. is it a configuration problem in sonar ? However, if i change the settings to MME drivers, audio works perfectly.
Have you got any idea what i can do?????
please heeeeeeeeelp.
thankyou.
