What MIDI interface? (posted in wrong forum by mistake)

Moderators don't scold me - I didn't realize there was an Interface forum.

Dudes:

I have a 4/2 MIDI interface by EES of Germany and it fails when it hits a dense section of MIDI. I'm crestfallen about the whole thing because I'll never get my mark$ back...

This is an issue known to Cakewalk and is apparently due to an inadequate driver.

What MIDI interface should I buy? I need to hear from someone who uses a lot of tracks..

Bopsdude:

40 tracks, so at least 40 notes and probably a lot more associated 'events' occur on beat one of the bar sometimes.

That's enough to choke my EES interface driver. I don't believe the data is really excessive - it's the driver that's no good.
