Is the FP10 compatible with an analog mixer to a AD/DA converter with Cubase LE 4? Is that connect possible?
Also, does the FP10 have ADAT? or would I need to get something with ADAT for recording with the FP10?

What do you mean, specifically? Do you want to hook up the output of an analog mixer to the inputs of the FP10?
The FP10 does not have ADAT lightpipe I/O. If you are looking for an interface similar to the FP10 with lightpipe, check out the PreSonus FireStudio.
I just posted on this thread (http://www.audioforums.com/forums/showthread.php?p=107412#post107412) about the FireStudio and various special deals that Sweetwater is running right now.

yes, I would like to hook up the output of the mixer to the inputs of the FP10. I'm just learning the ways of recording, so I'm trying to figure out what kinda set-up to have. Like how to hook up computers with mixing board with interfaces and limiters to compressers and having it all run together.
For right now, I just want to be able to record about 6-8 drum tracks all at the same time while the drummer listen to the guitarist, then do separate track for all the other instruments. But I was thinking eventually I need lightpipe I/O and ADAT and other important piece of the puzzle. I know this is long, but basically I'm trying to prepare for the future in knowing how and what a typical studio set-up is.
