Hi!
this is my first post and i may sound a little newbie but what can be a good and cheap amp for my Audiophile 2496 for headphones?

I bought this card because i was tired of my SBlive! but i didnt know that i needed an externan amp...

The thing is i have no idea how much these things cost... i expect something around 100-200$

ok i couldnt find any headphone amp at the 3 stores around....

is this really what i need?

I only have 1 MIDI controler, headphones and a computer running Cubase, Reason and Acid....

What do i need to have good sound out the headphones ??

Maybe add a cheap mixer that has a headphone jack into your setup?

Or get a little behringer mixer for about $79 and use the headphone amp in it, with a mixer to boot. http://www.audioforums.com/forums/smile.gif
