Axiom 25 and Ableton Live 6 for MAC's

Hello all,

I am brand new to the world of Midi controllers such as the Axiom 25 (which I just purchased). I am a guitar person looking to start composing music at home. This wonderful world of MIDI's looks promising but I am afraid I have hit a bump in the road.

I installed the software that came with the bundle...Live 6 lite. My Axiom 25 turns on and as far as I can tell works because I get sounds when I run Garageband. However, I don't get any sounds when I try using Ableton Live 6.

So, my question is: How do I go about getting sounds to come out when I use live 6 to mess around with?...(Side note: I have never used Live 6 before).

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Go to the help menu and choose lessons; there should be a lesson on using software instruments. Ableton should have additional tutorials, lessons, and even some videos on their website.
