Soundcard help plz. [Archive]

Im about to buy this souncard: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/112512

and I would like to connect a keyboard (music) to it. But I cant find a lead to buy for this to work.

I've never connecting keyboard to soundcard before so sorry if a really nooby question.

The Midi leads I have found are 15pin rather than 24 which I believe the soundcard is,

Any ideas on how to do this / what lead I will need ?! :P

Welcome to the Forums!

I don't think this card does MIDI. I could be wrong, but I think that's a gameport on the card. You could either look into a more "pro" level card or interface with MIDI support. Or, simply add a midi interface via USB.

If you're keyboard has a line-out, you could run that into the line-in on the card, but otherwise, this probably isn't a good card for keyboards.
