Hello,

I plan to buy this new sound card. If anyone has something to say, it should come forth now or remain silent forever http://www.audioforums.com/forums/wink.gif

- As anyone tried this sound card ?
- Does it work fine on an Abit KT7A-Raid mobo ?
- Can i keep my SB Live along ?
- What is your latency in Sonar with their WDM drivers ?
- Does it come with any wave editor ?

tried it - works great

dunno about that particular mobo - check the www.esi-pro.com (http://www.esi-pro.com) site for more info..

you can keep the sb-live

dunno what the latency is in sonar, but i've seen well under 10ms in all other apps.

no software as far as i've seen

Tried it as well. Awesome card that works at 1.5ms at 44.1khz under sonar.

Well worth the extra money over the 192L.

I wouldn't recomend any MB with built in RAID or a VIA chipset. SPend more on a PCI version of the raid card and an intel or amd chipset MB.

I use it on Win2K with AMD XP, Via chipset, Asus 7V333 motherboard, enabled FastTrack IDE RAID, and it works flawlessly.

BUT I just installed XP (for testing purposes) and XP reliably crashes with blue screen when I activate the waveterminal drivers 4.0. I'll post a question on the forum regarding this issue.
