external sound card input/output question

I looked all over for the answer to this, so I apologise for being such a noobie, but I cant seem to figure it out. I am using a m audio firewire 410, and a microphone to host a radio show on the internet. I have a pc, and SAM broadcaster.

I can not figure out how to get the output from the microphone to be stereo both channels. i get my voice in the left channel only, using input 1 on the sound card. I know that the inputs are L/R, but there has to be a way to get each input to go out on both channels, right?:o

When you are producing a mono signal, such as from a microphone, record to a mono track/file, not to stereo. Mono plays back on both channels automatically (except when deliberately panned away from center).
