Vista running on 7.3 ?

Hey guys im having a bit of trouble, i just bought a mbox 2 but when i try to install the software it wont let me because i dont have xp instead im running vista. the installer disk says protools le 7.3. is there anyway around this with out having to change my whole system ? i just want to record!

I have run Pro Tools LE on Vista 64 but it often gets stuck when loading. So Vista 64 is not an ideal platform. (Vista 32 should work).

You have to download 7.4 of PT LE first from the Digidesign site..

set installer to windows xpsp2 compability mode, (right click-property), run protools in that mode too...
