Cheap equipment racks

Okay I found this on Gearslutz and had to share. This guy is taking $15 end tables from IKEA and putting rack rails in them to make inexpensive racks. Seems 6U rails fit them perfect. Good idea if you ask me :)

the table is only 11 3/4 inch deep... good for effects
...you can also buy rack rails, a sheet of 4X8 X 5/8 Birch, some bolts, screws, glue, stain/finish, drill and rip saw, make your own, at any size for cheap...plus deep enough to hold power amps 18-20 Inches...and add casters

this is what I did in my studio, and they look like furniture too, also made desktop
