Today when I was switching around microphones on my computer and changing options with soundmax, out of nowhere all of my audio completely shut down. Then my computer started to freeze up, and a lot of programs aren't working. No my internet won't start up, I have to manually restart my computer, and half the programs I run freeze up. The Soundmax audio has a mute sign around the icon, and I can't start it up, or the regular windows audio. I took it off the startup list by going to run->msconfig->and by unchecking the soundmax audio. That didn't seem to help much at all though, and I still can't get windows to recognize my audio. I can't even get into my audio configuration from the control pannel. Can someone pleaassee help me before I throw my monitor out my window? Any help or opinions at all is GREATLY appreciated, thanks in advanced.
