Nero and MP3

My son has made a shedload of MP3 tracks and wants to burn them onto dvd.

Not a problem except Nero insists on putting them in alphabetical order, not the one he wants!

We only have Nero 6 oem comes with the burners.

Anyone know a fix?

Nero 5.5, the last I purchased, allowed one to load the tracks into Nero, then drag them individually into whatever order one wished, then write.

It is fairly easy to rename the tracks with number prefixes before loading into the writing program. I would move them to a work folder first for easy control if they were not already isolated. Using Windows Explorer
click on the file name
pause briefly
click on the file name again -- it can now be renamed
press the Home key to put the cursor at the beginning
type 01
click on the next file name
etc.

Son tells me you can drag .wavs about for cd's but not MP3's for dvd.

Yes he has pre-fixed each title and "fooled" Nero!

Hi

A simple way round is to perfix file names with 01, 02, 03, Etc. At least that's what I do
