not sure if this is the right forum, but here goes
i had audacity before, i used it once to remove 30 seconds of a track to use as a ringtone. then my hardrive went stupid and i had to replace it and start over with my computer. so i just reinstalled Audacity and opened a song in it, but it won't play the track. i can play the track fine in windows media player, but audacity just gives me a quick burst of sound and thats it.
