Vista vs. XP Performance & WinXP multicore bugfix

It has been posted before....Rains conclusions do not jive with other DAW builders...therefore, they should be met with much skepticism.

Yeah, I have started to hear that from other people as well.

One guy pointed out that the tests weren't likely using equal amounts of RAM per system, since some of the operating systems have a smaller maximum amount of RAM.

Another pointed out that maybe their Vista tweaks were very advanced or unusual and was wondering what they were.

Has anyone found any other XP/Vista comparision tests? I'll be getting Vista in a couple of weeks, so I can compare the two then - if I can get my DAW running properly on Vista, that is!
