vst's visually too big

Okay, when Im using my vst's in cubase why is it that for instance I have an app up. why is it that it's taking up so much of my screen. I have also noticed that when Im browsing the web I have a horizontal scroll bar :mad:
what do I need to adjust to make everything smaller

What is the size of your monitor(make/model would help as well) and what is the screen resolution size set at?....and are you talking about the taskbar itself, that can be found at the bottom of your screen or is it only happening on the web browser?....If so, what web browser are you using?

Also, note that some VST plugins come with a fixed heighth and width. They will appear larger on lower screen resolutions. Raising your screen res. will make it appear smaller in comparison...but everything else will, too.

Agreed Matt, which leaves me with only one thing left to say......1280x1024 or better and the largest screen you can afford.

okay, got it all fixed now, wow what a stupid question. sorry about that turns out my res was at 800 by 600 man it was a task just being able to browse the internet thanks you guys.
