If not I'll take it in to the shop. thanks for the read.

Hey Bops, does the problem still occur when using only the built in touchpad and keyboard? Nevermind, I see that the issue occurs either way.
Off hand, I'd say that a BIOS update is in order(would apply if it was related to external devices only)....what model Tetrec is it?
What model mouse/keyboard are you using?
Have you also been monitoring the heat being generated after prolonged use?
Are all the device drivers current?
Have you set the power options to be always on and killed the hibernation feature?

Thanhs S for the reply.
I need to get on it and see how much crap is on it, and also see if toshiba has upgrades. it is one of the daughters, aka, a bopsstudios "contributer", if you will.

It does that with the on board keys and mouse as well as out board, thats why i suspect it is not a hardware issue, (like food particals or libations in the onboard keys).

It is a model Tecra A8, I have 20 days left on warranty, so I figure I would troubleshoot myself first.

You could try a manual driver upgrade install for both the mouse and keyboard. However, the cause of irratic cursor behavior can be difficult to trace.....it can be a heat issue related to the GPU(quite possible since the issue only arises after an extended period) or it could also be a PSU issue.
