I just started using a laptop-Inspiron E1505 Media Direct, Centrino Duo, with 1.0gig of ram.
The problem is this: while recording an audio track (rewired to Reason) the audio recording will just stop after 10-15 seconds, the track continues to play and Reason continues. There is no audio drop indicator at all.... I have been told by Guitar Center that the problem may with the processor.
I use an old pc at home (Intel workstation)and have never had this problem.
