For starters, I'm having a laptop with 512MB of RAM and processor at 1.6 GHz. I bought Inspire 1394 for some home made radio shows.
Since I didnt have Firewire port I had to connect the Firewire Cardbus Card and my bus host controller is NEC OHCI IEEE 1394 Bus host controllers. I also installed the update WindowsXP-KB885222-v2-x86-ENU.
I have installed Inspire succesfully and there is a blue light on the box, and all of my drivers are working fine... BUT... when I connect the Inspire with the Firewire Cardbus Card, Inspire Control Panel won't start. My computer doesn't freeze and there is an Inspire window opened down in toolbar but nothing happens when I click on it. Afterwards when I crash the connection between Laptop and Inspire box, the Inspire Control suddenly shows up all greyed up with the text 'No connection' or 'No device connected' over control panel.
Does anyone know what might be the reason and how to resolve the problem?
Thanks in advance
