Peoples experiances with digidesign 001 + other cards

I'm thinking of buying the 001 pro and am wondering what people think of it, good and bad. Am also wonder how it compares to other sound cards around the same price. Is there something else that performs the same but cheaper.

i have the DIGI001.its a great and one of the best thaught interface and souncard.infact unique intended for that complete digital musician.(like all in one).
buttt,the protools software sucks.with all do respect.
i run the digi001 interface with samplitude
6.05 and love it in every department.i use the digidesigns wave driver(2channels only)but digi came up with asio out allready to be used with 3rd party multitracks.

very few interfaces exist like the digi001 unfortunately.but we should see more, intended for all in one purposes hopefuly.which i am surprised we dont see them readily available in the markets these days.

has anyone tried Digi001 with Windows OS and ASIO compatible software like cubase?

How does it goues with Digi001?
