hey my name is jones and i recently purchased a motu traveler. i bought it because my old card delta 1010lt isnt supported for vista. i bought a new computer and its a workhorse. installed the traveler on vista n it works great no sound issues nothing to complain about. no issues trying to even install the drivers. none!!!. as far as sound quality goes???? its great much clear and open compareed to delta 1010lt. the main panel is functional and very easy to operate. i also get all the power for the unit right thru the 6 pin firewire cable.yep thats right no extra ac or dc wire to hook up. there is also midi in and out adat optical in and out 4 mic pres its a amazing unit. cant say how much i am satified with it compared to the delta and guess what im running it on windows vista home premium along with acid pro 6. well what do i rate it?????
i have to say 9/10 there isnt any perfect unit anywhere. :D :D :D    :)

one of the problems in your work station is the operation system that you are using ...
vista !
one of the most unstable and one of the most heavy operation system ever bean made by microsoft...
so if you will install some good and stable operation system you will get much batter resolts
in my opinione ofcourse

so far since I made that last post there have been so many newer program that come out for vista. They have been totally stable for me on vusta.
On my computer the entire vista theme has been disabled which makes vista look like win 98 n makes ut so much faster

I've used this device (http://www.motu.com/products/motuaudio/traveler) before at the rehearsal space that I share with another band. It really is a kickass unit that is very responsive, produces excellent sound quality and easy as hell to set up and operate.

I sat down at it with no prior knowledge on how to use the product, and after about 20 minutes I was tracking guitar, bass and drum parts. Booyah!
