Guys,

I have been using some Cervin Vega Subwoofers (curved ones) for a few years. I have been using the Peavey Low Rider Subwoofer in the cabinets. I was wondering if anyone had any better suggestions as to any other speaker that may fit this cabinet better ?

Also does any one know if Cerwin Vega Cabinets come with Cerwin Vega Speakers and if so, is there anywhere I can purchase the original speakers from ?

hey richard welcome to the audio forums!
I was just wondering if there was a problem with the PV Lowrider speakers?
I'm thinking that Cerwin Vega uses other manufacturers speakers, ie Celestion, Emminence etc. there's always JBL & EV the PV lowrider is suppose to be PV's best sub, and I've always been real happy with the Blackwidow line, I use SP118 cabs...how many watts you shooting for here? My friend likes these alot for replacements, reasonable for a 1,000 watt raw sub.http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/B52-18200SL-18-Inch-1000-Watt-Cast-Frame-Subwoofer?sku=660005

Hey,

Thanks for responding. No I have not really been having any problems with the Peavey's, I just wanted to know if there anything else a little more powerful or appropriate for that cabinet.

I will look into those you recommended.
