I hit the C note on the keyboard, but the B note is recorded in Sonar 5.0 & plays through the monitors via Dimension Pro soft synth. I checked this with my tuner and the correct sound comes from clicking on the notes in the Sonar software (piano roll) keyboard. So, Sonar plays the note corectly but is either 1) reading the keyboard signal wrong or 2) the keyboard is sending the note one-half step flat to what I press. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi musicowboy,
MIDI keyboards often have the ability to transpose keys, making it simple to play quickly in a key like E or F#. Find the pitch transpose up/down buttons on the board and press them simultaneously. I'm not familiar with the M-Audio line, but on most keyboards this action resets transposing on the unit.

That sounds like it is the answer I was looking for. I will do this and see, but I do think this is the answer. Thanks for the assistance.
