I just recently bought an Aardvark DP 24/96 and Sonar 2.0 XL and am running under XP. I haven't had it long enough to do anything yet, and am just beginning the process of learning the software. The DP 24/96 seems to be extremely clean sounding. I just hope I made the proper software choice as I desire to record audio tracks and midi tracks with software synths and my outboard classic Ensoniq VFX-SD and Prophet-5 keybaords.

I am looking to get this set up -or something that allows to input MIDI and has at least 2 hi-z inputs and 4 XLR pre amps, which this setup seems to do if I've read my somework correctly. But I want to hear of someones elses succusful experinces running it first, and to find out what motherboard, RAM, and processor speed they had - also if the used two hard drives.
