My studio partner and I had a photo shoot the other week since the control room and all the sound panels are finished now. Let me know what you think.

I'll be honest that my partner Greg did most of that work since it is his house. That used to be a bedroom and a living area, but $40,000 in lumber, wiring, glass, drywall and new equipment and that's what we have now. It's pretty nice for what we've put into it.

Definitely let me know if you're up this way and swing in to check out the room. We have some projects coming in the summer that will be going on so it will be in full swing.

Looks awesome Howie! I think you will have a lot of fun in your space.

In the first picture, there is duct tape and stuff on the drum heads. Don't make me come over there and tune them things.;)

Looks fantastic.

thanks for all the positive replies. I might throw a few more pics here or on my website since we had a ton of them taken.

Spam: The drums are actually from the last gig that the drummer hasn't picked up yet so I claim no responsibility there. :)

Shane: I ballparked that the mics in the picture run about $6200 all together give or take a hundred or so.

I'm happy because the mics are in a nice pattern.

Is that OCD? I am always arranging my stuff to line up and things. (dance tuna-tins dance)

I'm jealous! If you ever want to get rid of the 414 or the RE-20 mics let me know!:p

If it sounds like it looks, you should be quite happy with that.

Most of the time is sounds like it looks. Depends on who's playing. We've had to make some sound better than they appear but thank goodness we don't run into too much of that anymore.

Mics might be a little of my OCD...more presentation than anything.

Nope, AT 3031's Great little mics. I got a good deal @ $320 for the pair.

Your studio looks nice and you clearly have a nice stable of mics to work with.
Whats your favorite vocal mic?
