Prodigy 7,1 HiFi right channel does not work

Just got my much wanted Prodigy 7.1 HiFi soundcard, only to discover there is no signal from the main front right channel. Using the 1/2 line out for 7.1 works fine, but then there (of cause) is no sub-woofer signal. My system played well until the switch to the Prodigy, so I am pretty sure that is where the problem is. Anyone having a solution, or do I just have to return the card?

Have you addressed the speaker setup in the mixer control panel for your card?

The output mode is set to stereo speakers, and as far as I can see, the card sends sound correct to these two channels, yet sound only occur from one speaker. Tried switching the outputcable so left is right, then sound come from the other speaker, so the speakers work just fine.

Bad cable? Have you tried switching cables?

Yup. Been through several cables, same result. Is there a way to test if your soundcard is malfunctioning?

Doe the Audiotrack show up in the windows mixer? If so, have you made sure that the balancing is correct?
