Hi, I've had a browse around here for a little while and i must say i quite like it.
I'm looking for a soundcard to use mostly with softsynths (reason and buzz are the ones i use the most atm..)
I doubt i'll be doing much (if any) recording in the near to not-so-near future. But i do like the odd bit of gaming. (some thing i've been doing less and less of recently.. hmm)
I've been leaning towards the higher end consumer cards but i figure i might be served well by a lower end pro card.
atm i have a athlon system based on the via kt333. but i'm planning on switching to an nforce2 in the next month or two.
Any cards that would be particularly worth having a look at?
obtw i should note i currently have an audigy and hate it. It's been quite flaky for me of late. I'm planning on staying well away from creative cards.
