im totally new to using a keyboard on the computer.. but i think i know what i want

im looking for some software that will allow me to stretch piano notes in a sequencer/beat maker kind of arrangement

im currently using magix music maker for loops but i want to make my own keys and subwoofer basslines

i have a m-audio keystation 49e and the software that came with it doesnt allow me to import any subwoofer bass

ive seen setups that have a piano roll with a sequencer type arrangement and for each key there is a dot or rectangle if you hold the key
each note is in front of the corresponding piano key and it is arranged down the line

i like the simple layouts.. i get confused and push too many other buttons with fancy programs

remember.. keys and subwoofer basslines

can somebody help me find a program for that please

Do you mean like a midi editor? Some editors allow editing on a screen that looks like a music staff, or on a screen with dots on a grid, or on a data screen, etc. Since you have Magix Music Maker, look on their web site at what they have. One of their programs has an editor like it sounds like you want (most programs that do midi do...). All you have to do is learn how to use it...
