last year I was ready to make a purchase of a usb or pc card sound card for my laptop. Seems things change quickly with new cards introduced. My main needs are analog, but I'd also have a use for spdif if it's not much more costly.
is there one card for a laptop that seems to be most popular, sound best, reasonable cost etc?
