pointing a shotgun mic at a guitar amp onstage live -- always a bad idea or is there a setting/arrangement that could work? can't find any info on this. assume good mic, narrow spread, solid mount, no obstructions, from 50 feet way and perfect aim. i expect to be ridiculed for asking this question.
