I just got sonar 2 and I have 2 sound cards. At this time, I have to use the onboard sound card (Avance Audio 97) as my playback option. But when I run Sonar, I get an audio driver error. I've checked out cakewalk's site and gone through the "fixes" for this error, but none of them worked. I'm wondering if because this is an onboard (cheapo) sound card, perhaps it's not supported by Sonar or something. The reason I think this could be the case is because I also have cakewalk 9 and it works fine with the card. Anyone know about this or have any similar problems? Would it make sense to put in a sound blaster card since it's supposed to work with Sonar? Thanks.
